“In our office there’s a world map on the wall, and we stick a pin in each city where we have an associate, each one represents a new exciting story“
“Our associates haven’t let it intimidate by the virus. They’re a source of pride for us all”

The Porcelanosa Associates Programme strengthens its position with four new openings in 2021.
In a year ruled by worldwide instability, the idea of independently managing a Porcelanosa store is still an enticing proposition for entrepreneurs across the globe.
Vicente Dejoz, a member of the Porcelanosa Associates team, takes in in-depth look at the work associates – and his department – have done over the last few months.
2021 has led to a shift in business models, and we’ve all had to adapt rapidly. But now that protective measures have been put into place and the vaccination programme continues apace, it looks as though the sector has begun to bounce back. Do you think the pandemic has reinforced the idea that architecture and our homes are hugely important assets to society?
The home has become the backdrop of our lives, and being in lockdown has led society to place more value on their homes. People feel the need to transform their spaces. They want to improve comfort and functionality, and make the most of every square metre. And this new mindset isn’t only limited to residential projects, it extends to all architecture and design projects. We want to remove partitions, unify spaces, make rooms bigger and face them to the outside world, with larger terraces and open recreational spaces.
In spite of this being such a challenging year, the Porcelanosa Associates Project has continued to grow, with store openings in Tashkent, Quimper, Bratislava and Conakry, Guinea… Almost a record-breaking number – and in times of apparent instability.
The credit goes to our associates who’ve stoically endured the onslaught of the crisis since it began. They haven’t let it intimidate them, and have continued to battle the scourge of the virus to reach their goal and dream: opening their own Porcelanosa showroom. They’re shining examples of resilience, and a source of pride for us all.
They’ve continued to put on events (with safety measures in place) and presentations, implemented fantastic interior design projects, and all whilst keeping their stores as up-to-date as always. So you could say hard work and dedication have won out in the battle against adversity?
Absolutely! People’s attitudes have been key to fighting the havoc this virus has wreaked. We’ve had to adapt to the situation, and everyone has collaborated and worked hard together in this regard. Success is the fruit of everyone’s efforts.
The year hasn’t ended yet, and it looks like there will still be new associates to add to the list before 2022 comes around
We’re working on various projects, and we’re hoping to announce a number of interesting openings before the end of the year. Why not follow us on social media and keep an eye on the Porcelanosa Associates website? That way you won’t miss out on any of our new developments.
Porcelanosa Associates already has a presence on four continents – is there a particular territory you have in mind for the next venture?
In our office there’s a world map on the wall, and we stick a pin in each city where we have an associate. Each associate represents a new exciting story for the whole team.
We’re still working hard to get clients on every continent. Our goal is to ensure all PORCELANOSA products and our distinctive Lifestyle concept has a presence though our showrooms in every country around the world – then our world map will be complete.
