The Taiwan associate explains the Porcelanosa challenges in his region

After their recent incorporation into the Associates Program, the representatives of Moujun Enterprise CO LTD, the associate of Porcelanosa in Taiwan, visited the XXVII International Exhibition of Porcelanosa Group and explained to us how they approach the landing of the firm in the Asian country.
This year the XXVII International Exhibition of Porcelanosa Group is presented, with important developments in all facets of the Group. What would you highlight about this year’s exhibitions?
For the XXVII Exhibition, I have seen the growing force on each company of Porcelanosa Grupo and its’ brand image.
Not only did I see the pretty showrooms but also witness the continuing expansion of production plant and warehouse facility. The most outstanding part is I have seen the quality of Urbatek’s slab has fascinating improvement. The pattern and design is bold and has its own characters. I am really happy to see Urbatek has these improvements in these three years.

How is the brand perceived in your country?
The ceramic industry is competitive and conservative in our market. Most people do not have branding perspective for imported tile, but people do care about the brand of imported kitchen, sanitary ware, and somewhat solid surface. In the imported tile industry, clients only recognize the name of distributors and price. We hope, with time and with work, to be able to establish and strengthen the PORCELANOSA brand in our country.
In order to promote the “PORCELANOSA”, we utilize the promotion tools from each factory (Thanks for marketing department). We hope clients can see and feel the differences between PORCELANOSA and others brands through the catalogue, brochures, short videos, etc. How to distinguish Porcelanosa Associate from others will be a challenge task for us.
The qualitative leap of Porcelanosa in recent years has been very substantial. Do you think the customer is aware of what it means to buy the Porcelanosa product?
Although the customer may not have chances to see the improvements of Porcelanosa products yet in our market, customers perceive that it is a quality product, with which the client is satisfied and does not raise complaints. At least it help us to prevent from unnecessary work or compensation. We are happy with it.
What characteristic could you highlight about the Associates project if you had to explain it to a knowledgeable audience in the sector?
To professional clients we usually let them know you will have a unique experience in Associate. It is not like regular tile distributors will only show you or clients several brands of the “same things”. Here, you will have chance to see and touch the diverse collections and concepts of Porcelanosa Life Style.
You will also find the details of kitchen and sanitary ware. It will be a very different experience from walk into tile distributor company or kitchen supply store.
