On 10 June, a new Porcelanosa Associates store opened in Tashkent, the cosmopolitan Asian capital.
Guests enjoyed incredible performances and excellent catering, and some of the event’s most prominent attendees gave brief speeches.
Attendees had the opportunity to have a look around the new store and share a celebratory evening together.
Representatives from the Porcelanosa Associates team made their way to Uzbekistan for the event, including: Jose María Segarra Soriano, International Strategies & Operations at Porcelanosa Group, Carlos González Guillén and Vicente Dejoz, from the Porcelanosa Associates Department.
Mr. Carlos Alberto Martinez Ferrero, Consul of Spain in Uzbekistan, was also present.
Guests from the region’s design sector included Lyubov Safronova, Ulugbek Kholmuradov, Eduard Tyugay and Andrey Kim from Lasphera Bureau, Vlad Zamanov, Gulbahor Faizullaeva from Bahor Deco, Inga Lee (Founder of InDesign Studio), Darya Homich, Sardor Sadykov (Founder of Memors Design) and Farruh Hakimov (Co-founder of Reventt Architects), among others.
Representing the region’s business sector were Mark Singerman (Co-founder of FDG and Gesheft Group) and Hikmat Abdurahmanov, Co-founder of various corporations.
Tashkent, known as the Stone City, is Uzbekistan’s main financial and cultural centre, and home to the country’s most prestigious transnational companies and academic institutions.
The Porcelanosa Tashkent store has a 750-square metre display space, showcasing all of the Porcelanosa Group brands’ new products.
