On 18th November, a group of designers from the Taichung Association of Interior Design & Decoration (TAIDD) visited the PORCELANOSA Taichung associated showroom.
The president of the Taichung Association of Interior Design & Decoration (TAIDD), Mr Lee, and a group of designers visited the PORCELANOSA associated showroom in the Taiwanese city of Taichung on the 18th of November.
Futuristic and modern design
Lining Zhang’s showroom design, as well as the wide range of products and services offered by PORCELANOSA in the facilities, wowed visitors. Specifically, the sintered Calacatta Green surface that uniformly covers the ceramic display room’s floor, walls, and ceilings. Numerous tiles with asymmetrical shapes are displayed in this futuristic aesthetic room, highlighting the distinct colour, texture, and luminance of each piece.
Elegant and refined ambiance
Every corner of the showroom is designed with a calculated proportion of colour and materials, resulting in an elegant, serene and soft atmosphere. “Through this design approach, I hope that the space reveals its poetry in a refined and elegant atmosphere, with a soft and slow pace, so that every visitor to the PORCELANOSA shop can stop and look carefully, and concentrate on the different qualities of each tile, kitchen, bathroom, mosaic… and create a unique expression for each space”, says Lining Zhang.
The materials and feelings
“Designers change the world through space, PORCELANOSA changes space through building materials,” says the interior designer, emphasising the importance of materials in creating sensations and extracting the full potential of spaces by adapting them to the personality and needs of their users. Finishes, textures, and colours play an important role in this regard, as they help to awaken the senses. Everything depends on the project and what each space requires, but the material chosen will be crucial in creating an appealing and authentic atmosphere.
