Four keys to relations between Porcelanosa & Associates
February 3, 2021
The Porcelanosa Associates Programme is now a worldwide scheme, with over 30 associate showrooms of differing characteristics. From Porcelanosa’s head office in Vila-real, the Associates team supervises and provides support to all these showrooms, most of which are located thousands of kilometres apart.
In this everyday challenge for the Associates Department, some key guidelines must be followed to ensure fruitful, beneficial relations for both Porcelanosa and its associates.

Support
Associates must feel that our team is always on hand to offer assistance. The varying circumstances of procedures, management processes and transactions regularly lead to queries of different kinds. We help our associates to resolve these problems. In addition to this, we also try to visit them on a regular basis to forge closer ties and to assist them in situ with their showroom’s look and feel.
Empathy
When you work at a physical distance, it is important to make an extra effort to understand the specific circumstances and social and cultural characteristics of each individual market and, by extension, those of our associates. By listening actively to them and showing empathy, we can build solid reliable relationships.
Growth
Growth within the Associates Programme is shared growth. If things go well for our associates, they go well for us too. With this in mind, we strive to consolidate achieved goals and to propose new future challenges, including improvements like renovations to showrooms, training in new computer tools and apps developed by the group, and business expansion.
Leadership
Although our associates develop their business talent under the auspices of a big multinational group, we are keen for them to become natural business leaders. To achieve this goal, we encourage them to work pro-actively and to take the initiative, motivating and organizing their team to reach set targets.
